My contact sheets

After my researches on contact sheets (see preview post), I decided to print my own contact sheets in the darkroom.

I used the darkroom on the 10th and 12th of May in order to print these.  

The Process :

Here is a tutorial on how to print a basic contact sheet I found on YouTube form the Illford Photo YouTube page. I thought this video was very simpler, explaining clerkly how to print a contact sheet in the darkroom.  

I went through this exact process : placing my negatives on the paper, making test strips and once I was happy with how they looked I printed my final contact sheets.  

Once they were dry, I used a red marker to make a first selection for my 10 final photos and 5 prints. This really helped me to see how the images would look printed and which one was best for prints.
