How I optimised my photo ?
I used camera Raw to make this images less fat by adding shadows and add in more whites and blacks. Then I used Photoshop to dodge his eyes a bit so they stand out more, I also did that in the darkroom for my final print. I used gradient for the background to take more texture out of it and to really separate Cedric from the background as I thought he was blending in a bit. Finally, I used the high pass filter and changed the blending mode to soft light, I only used it for the eyes so I've added a black mask and painted in the eyes so they were a bit more sharp.
